The Gifts of Love International Story
Gifts of Love International brings our support and care to the people of Brito, Guatemala and La Gonâve Island, Haiti. Whether that be construction efforts, job training, church services, or beyond, we provide aid for those in need and give area children the means to achieve a better, healthier life.
Bringing Tangible Hope to Haiti
Our work in Haiti is located on La Gonâve Island, where we serve children in the community of Anse-a-Galet. Our school provides education for the children of the community, along with free healthcare, a community feeding program, and job training programs. We are working to expand the health clinic to treat adults and establish a mobile unit to reach other communities in the area. Our Clean Water project ties into our garden micro-business efforts to help the community members become self-sustainable. We have computer lab teachers and computer skills training courses to help children and adults in the community develop digital literacy skills that will carry over to their adult life. We hope to bring more humanitarian aid to the region through donations and volunteers in the coming years to reach more people in need.
Bringing Compassion to Guatemala
Our work in the community of Brito, Guatemala provides underprivileged children with the means of growing and achieving their dreams. Our school, the Niños Amados Academy, offers job training, educational efforts, and construction plans for the local community. We enable children to earn the education necessary to attain their dreams and chase their passions, while also providing skills training for community members of all ages seeking employment and a brighter future.
